Engineering Lead/Interface Manager - West Sulawesi, IndonesiaWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead/Interface Manager to join our team in West Sulawesi, Indonesia. As the Engineering Lead/Interface Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various engineering activities within our mining operations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring efficient and effective communication and collaboration between different teams and stakeholders involved in the mining project.Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.Act as a focal point for interface management between different departments, contractors, and stakeholders involved in the mining project. Coordinate activities and ensure smooth communication to achieve project objectives.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Oversee engineering design activities, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed engineering, and optimization efforts. Ensure designs meet project requirements, quality standards, and operational needs.Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project goals and timelines. Identify resource requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to fulfill project needs.Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team and across the project site. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and implement measures to mitigate risks.Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and regulatory bodies. Address concerns, facilitate dialogue, and promote collaboration to achieve project objectives.Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and efficiency gains within the engineering function. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance project performance.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, civil engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in mining engineering or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management position.Extensive knowledge of mining operations, including planning, design, and execution.Strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.Proven experience in project management, interface management, and stakeholder engagement.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
